Members of the Housing Older Women Movement, Innovation House, and Co-Creating Community met to workshop what would be required to initiate stages in developing collaborative housing initiatives. Participants came from Tin Can Bay, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich as well as greater Brisbane.

Meeting with NHHA Review Productivity Commissioners

HOW Movement Core Group members and staff and members of the Housing for the Aged Action Group met with the Productivity Commissioners, Malcolm Roberts and Romlie Mokak, and their team to discuss the review of the National Housing and Homelessness Agreement.

Minister’s Announcement of the Queensland Government’s Housing Initiatives for Older Women

We were delighted by Minister Leeanne Enoch’s announcement of five key initiatives to begin to meet the needs of our cohort. The announcement was a direct result of our advocacy and the initiatives are an integral part of the Queensland Housing and Homelessness Action Plan 2021-2025.
